By creating together and learning from each other we are dedicated to highlight the need for a design and production ecosystem that fosters communication and interaction to preserve cultural heritage. Traditional crafts, often isolated and exoticized, are losing their significance, making it challenging to pass down cultural heritage to new generations. In today's notion of architecture and the city, the small producers in local neighborhoods are pushed out of the city and are forced into industrial sites, causing society to move away from production and marginalize productive activities. The "modern" person, who is separated from production, only encounters the output objects of industrial production.

As MODeditions, we believe that in order to tell our story we must start with introducing the actors. We value the craftsman, knowing well that we are working with individuals that are masters at their craft.
