COPPER & SILVER

Using Copperware Or Silverware

Copper and silver are known to be very reactive, the surfaces can tarnish quickly and become a darker color. The natural oil in our hands and the droplets of liquids left unwiped can accelarate the oxidation on the surfaces. Therefore we recommend regular use and immediate cleaning in order to maintain the shine of your products. While using you are polishing the surfaces with your hands, and if you do not air-dry your products you will see less watermarks.

General Cleaning

Use mild dish soap and warm water to clean the cup, rub with a soft cloth or a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive materials, as they can scratch the copper and the silver plating.
Please do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, avoid bleach, vinegar, or any cleaners containing ammonia.

Dry Immediately

After washing, pat the cup dry with a soft, clean cloth. Avoid air-drying, as this can lead to water spots.

A Simple Paste You Can Make At Home

Prepare an equal mixture of white vinegar and water in a standard water cup (250 ml) and add 1 tablespoon of table salt. Mix thoroughly. Immerse a microfiber cloth into the vinegar solution, ensuring it's soaked but not dripping. Delicately rub the cloth onto the tarnished sections of the copper item, using gentle pressure and moving in circular motions. Rinse and dry the cups using a dry cloth.

Avoid Dishwasher Use

The detergent, the pressure of the water and the metal racks inside the dishwasher can damage metal products. Also since the product will mostly dry inside the dishwasher, watermarks will appear. We are not recommending you to wash your copper and silver products in the dishwasher.

Avoid High-Heat

Drinking hot liquids does not cause harm, but exposing the products to open flame will tarnish and burn the surface.

MARBLE

Using Marble Products

Marble is made up of many veins and minerals. Under the soil, different types of minerals and rock formations fuse together with a lot of pressure thus creating the veins of the marble. This is why every pattern on marble is unique. As the material is not homogenous, marble becomes porous, meaning that it can absorb the liquids. We advise to keep your marble products dry while not using.

General Cleaning

Use mild dish soap and warm water to clean, rub with a soft cloth or a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive materials, as they can scratch the surface of marble. Please do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, avoid bleach, vinegar, or any cleaners containing ammonia. Marble is susceptible to damage from acidic substances, such as citrus juices, vinegar, or wine. However the effects can be prolonged if the marble product is cleaned and dried after usage.

Dry Immediately

After washing, pat the product dry with a soft, clean cloth. Avoid air-drying, as this can lead to water spots.

Avoid Dishwasher Use

The detergent, the pressure of the water and the metal racks inside the dishwasher can damage and scratch marble products. Since the product will mostly dry inside the dishwasher, watermarks will appear. We do not recommend to wash your marble products in the dishwasher.

Avoid High-Heat

Drinking hot liquids do not cause harm, but exposing the products to open flame will tarnish and burn the surface.

Please Do Not Use Any Surface Sealers

Surface sealing solutions used for marble are not safe for consuption. Over time and depending on usage, the inside of the marble products become can become dull. This can be prevented if the product is cleaned shortly after usage.
